General Information
CASI AERO 2023 will feature a diverse program of Canadian and international keynotes and technical presentations.
Seven parallel technical symposia will cover a wide variety of subjects. Particular emphasis will be placed on emerging trends in aerospace in Canadian industry, academia, government and the Canadian Forces.
Awards
Accomplishments of Canadian aerospace professionals and organizations will be celebrated at the Gala Awards Dinner on the evening of Wednesday November 15.
Canadian Aeronautics and Space Journal
A Special Issue of CASJ will include selected papers that expand upon the presentations given during AERO 2023. More information will be available as the conference approaches.
Language of the Conference
The language of AERO 2023 is English. Please note that translation services are not provided.

Abstract Submission
Abstracts should be a maximum of 300 words. You can attach your submission in docx, rtf or txt format. Submission of full papers by authors is not required at this time.
All participants (Presenters, VIPs, Volunteers and all other category of delegate) are required to register for AERO 2023 and are responsible for the cost of registration.
Registrants receive confirmation via email upon payment. Registrations without payment are automatically cancelled within 15 minutes - have your payment information ready before proceeding.
A Letter of Invitation may be provided upon request.

We encourage CASI Student Members to volunteer at AERO 2023 in return for complimentary registration. More details.
Our Volunteer Schedule is full and we are no longer accepting Volunteer Applications.
The conference will take place at the Brookstreet Hotel, 525 Legget Drive Ottawa, ON.
Delegates can contact Brookstreet's IN-HOUSE Reservations Team either by phone or email and book under the "AERO 2023" block at the preferred rate of $219/night.
Reservations can be reached Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm, Saturday from 9am to 5pm at 613-271-1800 or 888-826-2220.

- Your AERO 2023 Presentation is best presented to onsite staff via USB Thumb Drive so that it can be loaded to the presentation laptop. If using another device such as a cellular phone, you will need your own patch cord and your device must be accessable using a Microsoft Windows interface without additional software.
- Please arrive at your assigned presentation room in advance of the session.
- A Volunteer will be assigned to your session and can assist in loading your presentation to the supplied laptop.
- Test your presentation on the equipment available.
- Please limit your presentation to 12-15 minutes - the Session Moderator (or Volunteer) will notify you of how much time you have remaining for Q&A from the audience.
- All presentations are permanantly deleted at the end of each session - we do not retain a copy of any materials provided or loaded to the equipment provided.
Delegate safety is our prime concern. All government regulations will be observed and enforced within the Conference spaces. Additional measures intended to help keep all AERO 2023 participants safe may be implemented as circumstances dictate.
