Volunteering

CASI Student Members are invited to volunteer at the CASI 2026 Conference in exchange for complimentary registration*. 

In order to qualify for complimentary registration, you must volunteer at least 15 hours. 

* Your complimentary Volunteer Registration does not include the Awards Dinner. Dinner Tickets may be purchased separately during registration.

We request that all volunteers familiarize themselves with the venue's emergency exits and life-saving facilities to provide delegates with as much help as they possibly can while onsite.

CASI 2026 Conference Spaces

Duties

Your duties may include the following tasks:

• Assembly of Delegate Kits
• Presenting Nametags & Delegate Kits to registrants during onsite check-in
• Changing signage at strategic times during the conference & collecting signage w/easles at end of day
• Remaining in your assigned session and assisting the Presenters with any technical issues and/or file management during the session
• Ticket collection for paid events

Session Assignments

A volunteer needs to be assigned to each Session, which may consist of upto 5 presentations. Volunteers will ideally arrive to their session 10 minutes in advance to assist presenters with loading their presentations, familiarizing presenters with equipment, etc., and will be expected to remain in that session until all presentations are over.
