About Danielle Tremblay

Danielle Tremblay is a fluently bilingual Creative Communications Specialist currently based in Ottawa, Canada. She has extensive experience in multimedia, corporate communications, membership development for non-profits, publicity and promotion for performing artists, television and film production, human resources and art direction. She also teaches English and French as second languages. For many years, Danielle lived and worked extensively with the Algonquin people of the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation. There she learned their teachings from the late Elder William Commanda and many others. Danielle worked alongside the community as a communications consultant for Kabeshinan, Mawandoseg Kitigan Zibi and other initiatives such as the repatriation of human remains from the Canadian Museum of Civilization and as a Human Resources Advisor for the Algonquin Anishinabeg Tribal Council.
