The theme of ASTRO’12 is Canadian Priorities – Global Opportunities. The conference will feature strong international participation with a focus on what Canadians are doing in the space industry and how Canada can maintain and expand its role in global space markets, initiatives, and collaborations.
ASTRO’12 is being held from April 24-26 2012 in Québec City at the majestic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac Hotel. ASTRO’12 will be preceded by a Nanosatellite Workshop on April 23. Participants may register for either event separately or both together. Chairs of ASTRO’12 are Dr. Iain Christie (Neptec) and Dr. Claire Samson (Carleton University). The Technical Chair is Dr. Chad English (Neptec).
Plenary Sessions An exciting program of guest speakers is planned. Attendees will hear presentations from senior government officials, academic and industry leaders from Canada and around the world. In keeping with the overall theme the speakers will address how Canadian organizations can better achieve their goals and participate more fully in the dynamic international space market.
